Markets of Jerusalem
Machane Yehuda market, Jerusalem. This is one of the oldest and most interesting markets in Israel. Just a few minutes walk from the Old City, hundreds of vendors set up shop every week to sell their goods. It was fascinating to talk to the people here. So many of them had come to Israel from other countries to escape religious persecution. What an amazing place where Jews, Christians, Muslims, and everyone in between live together happily and peacefully.
