Emily meeting a child who had just recently had life saving heart surgery at "save a Childs Heart" in Tel Aviv. This organization provides free life saving heart surgeries to Israelis and foreigners alike who cannot afford proper care. A great deal of their patients come from Iran, Syria, and other nearby countries. I found this generosity and care absolutely amazing given the fact that many of the countries from which these children and their families came from for surgery were actively working to destroy Israel. Saving the very people trying to kill you, that is amazing.
